accepted answer has been given by Terence H. Well, that’s one fear you would have to overcome if you want to take an accounting course, because Algebra is basic for such classes. Honestly, Algebra is the easiest part of Mathematics, I hope you are aware of that!

accepted answer has been given by Carlyle You don’t have to be a genius in Mathematics to take an accounting course. You will need just the basics, like addition, multiplication, subtraction and division, plus a little bit of logical thinking. You will learn the rest during the course itself.
