accepted answer has been given by Ruth The expected lifetime of above ground pools really depends on many factors, among which initial quality, weather, insulation, protection from external factors, maintenance and adequacy of the foundation. They will surely last less than the in-ground pools, but the other benefits they have cover the expenses.

accepted answer has been given by Lorry I like the idea of above ground pools a lot and I would recommend them to anyone that doesn’t have that much space around their house to build a real pool. They are long lasting, easy to clean and even to move.

accepted answer has been given by Janine It depends on how large the above ground pool is. Usually, if it is larger than 10 feet, it is advisable to have a hard wall one, because it is more resistant. It is true that it takes more to prepare the ground to set your pool on, but the ending aspect is far better from an aesthetic point of view as well.
