Is a business card scanner equipped with an OCR program that can read and stock information in the right fields?

Usually, any business card scanner should have the OCR feature and if it is not installed, you could install it from the software CD the scanner came up with. It is more expensive to buy such a program separately, this is why I suggest you check the CD for the feature.

Do you think a person would be offended if I offered her my old cheap digital camera?

It depends on the status of that person and on the type of relationship you two share. If you know she cannot afford buying an expensive digital camera, I don’t think she would be offended if you offered her your used cheap digital camera.

How can you delete an encryption software that has already been installed on a flash drive when no files are visible?

question posted by Nelly on January 7th, 2009 01:59

The easiest and safest way to delete an encryption software from a flash drive is to format the drive, but that implies erasing all data on the drive. However, if you say there are no visible files on it, just format it. Right click on the drive icon and choose “format”.

How many pictures can a cheap digital camera hold? I need one that holds at least 100-150 pictures.

I doubt a cheap digital camera can hold that amount of pictures, taking into account a picture is at least 2-3Mb large. You will probably have to buy a memory card as well, but that shouldn’t be a problem because they’re so small.

Are color laser printers archival quality? I inted to print some photos and I don’t want them to fade after a few months.

question posted by Bill on January 5th, 2009 03:32

If you want anything to be archival, you need to use acid free paper, so it doesn’t really depend whether the color laser printers are archival or not. It’s the quality of the paper and, of course, the quality of the toner cartridges.

Why are color laser printers better than the ink printers?

question posted by T Bag on December 18th, 2008 02:14

As their name says it, color laser printers print with the help of the laser technology, while the ink printers use the cartridge old technology, which makes them less durable. Also, a laser print job is a lot more refined than an ink print job.

What kind of memory do flash mp3 players support?

question posted by Nena on December 16th, 2008 10:12

accepted answer has been given by Kerpunk

It depends. Usually, flash mp3 players use SD memory cards of various sizes. You should read the box the mp3 came in because it says over there what kind of memory is compatible with it.

Are there any good cheap digital cameras that have video features somewhere around $100?

question posted by Yoji on December 16th, 2008 01:20

accepted answer has been given by Brent

I don’t think you would find cheap digital cameras to offer you good video features for $100, but you can think of something like asking your parents to match your $100 with another $100 and consider it as a gift for your birthday. In that way, you could get a good quality camera.
